Samsung Galaxy Nexus is back on the shelves but no fix in sight for those with problem handsets

The release of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was anticipated by fans of the Nexus One and Nexus S and all who love Andriod. It was soon discovered however that this model had a particularly annoying bug that dropped the volume when a person was using 2G. This meant it was almost impossible to make calls over 2G. Many found they missed calls and texts due to not hearing alerts. The result of this problem with the volume drop meant the Galaxy Nexus was taken off the shelvesby IT company Samsung. Today marks the comeback of the Galaxy Nexus, a selection of online retailers have reopened orders after glitch free Samsung Galaxy Nexus devices were reportedly delivered. Clove an online handset specialist claims to already have the phone with the corrected software in stock and retailer Expansys is expecting stock of the fixed phones later today. Samsung has not yet released any information on when current holders of the IT product can expect the patch but it is hoped that it will be soon now, a correction for the fault has been found for this new stock.
